Band: Jukka: Guitar, Vocals Timo: Bass, Vocals Mikko: Drums, Vocals Progen - Story Progen was founded somewhere in the dark fall of 2006. At the time, Jukka and Mikko had severe problems with their current heavy metal band B.F.S. (you really do not want to know what's behind those capital letters), and they decided to go for punk. For some unknown reason, they decided ask Timo to join the band. Actually Timo was drafted from smoking ruins of Nou'ska, the legendary punk rock band from northern Finland. Nou'ska had struggled past years with their Bass player touring in Asia without the band. Progen started straight from the start with their own songs. Even though many of the songs were found from Jukka's drawer, progen's sound is fresh and wicked. To name few influences, band finds their place somewhere between Ramones, Snuff and Terveet Kädet. After one year of rehearsals in various bomb shelters around Oulu, Progen played their first show in local A.C.Willisika bar. Show was success and the guys are in flames still today.
